My love for Boxers began when I was a very small child. My family owned a plain fawn male Boxer who we called Butch. He was a great dog who hated the garbage men, but loved his family. As I grew older my interests turned to horses and I began riding and showing. This was quite an expensive hobby and when I was old enough to be on my own it was either the horses or buy groceries. I decided on groceries! When I was more finacially stable I decided to get back in to dogs and bought a Great Dane. I began to breed and show Great Danes and was involved in the breed for about 8 years. While showing Great Danes I would watch the Boxers show and I soon began to realize that my heart still lay with these wonderful dogs!

That was all 20+ years ago and I still breed and show Boxers. They have become my life, hence the kennel name, MyLife Boxers. My name is Jill Wilhelm Sweeten and my husband's name is Joe Sweeten. We moved from North Carolina in 2004 to the San Francisco Bay area of California. All of our Boxers made the trip across country with us and we love the California weather! We live in the shadow of Mt. Diablo (pictured), about 40 minutes east of San Fran.

Our Boxers are first and foremost members of our family. Secondly they are show dogs. We only breed occasionally and believe in health and temperament testing. Boxers are unfortunately predisposed to cancer and heart disease and we make sure our dogs are tested prior to breeding. Please take a look around our website.
